Alibaba, MiniMax, Zhipu, Moonshot, Xiaomi, ByteDance, StepFun, Tencent (recently).

One thing I notice: a lot of open weights and lot of surprisingly good cost and perf (on paper, ambiguous and unsettled but still) innvoation and breakthroughs. Deepseek v4 probably next because of course (where are they).

This is what competition looks like? You have to appreciate rivalry.
